Returns and Exchanges

 

Return and Exchange Policy
 
At 'Baby Inspired' we understand that internet shopping is different from being able to pick-up and hold items the way you do in a conventional store. It is for this reason that we promise to provide the best products possible. 
 
However, if you are in anyway unhappy with your purchase we will cheerfully return/exchange the item/s provided that:
 
- All items are returned within 14 days of receipt.  No exchange, credit or refund can be given after 14 days for change of mind or if you have made a wrong decision.
 
- The item/s must be in 'as new' condition, ie: unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unsoiled and in their original packaging and/or tags attached.
 
- You complete the ‘Product Returns’ form located at www.babyinspired.com.au prior to returning your item/s. A Returning Authorisation Number (RAN) will then be issued and should be written on the outside of the returning package.

- It is suggested that you send your return package by registered post or express post, as ‘Baby Inspired’ cannot be held responsible for any product lost/damaged in transit.
 
- If you have requested a refund, it will be issued via the same payment method used within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods, provided the R.A.N. (Returning Authorisation Number) is clearly marked on the package
 
- If exchanging the item you may select an alternative product, however if the replacement item is priced higher than the item exchanged you will be required to pay the difference.
 
- Under no circumstances will a refund or credit be given if the products received are used, worn, washed, soiled, damaged or without original packaging and/or tags attached unless deemed to be faulty. These items will be returned to the customer with the customer responsible for any return shipping costs.
 
Please note:  Return postage/shipping of items is not refundable unless the item/s are deemed to be faulty. Standard shipping charges apply when replacing goods unless faulty.
 
 
Products Deemed Faulty
 
‘Baby Inspired’ prides itself on quality control and checks all products to the best of its ability before sending them out. If however you believe you have a product that is faulty, please complete the ‘Product Returns’ form located at www.babyinspired.com.au as soon as possible with your purchase details. Often problems can be resolved immediately. In some cases you may be directed to the manufacturers service department.
 
 
Missing Item, Damaged in Transit or Dead on Arrival
 
Please ensure you open your parcel, check all items are included and are undamaged, and any electrical items or battery operated items are working and in good order on receipt. 
 
Claims for missing or damaged items cannot be accepted after 7 days of receipt.
 
Electrical or battery operated items deemed 'dead on arrival' will be replaced with a new item, or battery where appropriate, if reported to us within 7 days of receipt. After 7 days we are restricted to the manufacturers warranty replacement or repair conditions. 
 
‘Baby Inspired’  takes great care when packaging your order and rarely have our packages been damaged in transit. Therefore, we consider any damage or loss of goods on a case-by-case basis.
 
‘Baby Inspired’ makes no warranties or representations of any kind for the products being offered. Any warranties made are by the manufacturers themselves. Normal warranty periods apply and vary depending on the individual product.
